The 12th Box Set of Naruto bridges Seasons 6 and 7 of the hit ninja comedy-adventure. While Naruto waits for Jiraiya (a.k.a. “Pervy Sage”) to return to the Hidden Leaf Village and proceed his training, he goes on a series of short missions that concede the filmmakers to manufacture a great deal of of the secondary characters. Shy Hinata, who nurtures a mystery crush on Naruto, proves she’s an capable warrior in her own right with a spectacular new jutsu of her own creation. Rock Lee, who can’t use magical techniques, proves the efficacy of his exhaustive physical training by fending off the lightning-wielding Raiga while unconscious. Director Hayato Date plays the drama of the battle versus Raiga and his lightning swords versus some unusually wide comedy. Lee, Tenten, Neji, and Naruto use a little old lady’s “Curry of Life” like Popeye’s spinach: It restores consciousness, heals injuries, and builds fighting power. But it’s so fantastically spicy, only Lee enjoys it (and even he turns scarlet after the firstborn bite). Naruto blows the mission to capture the rare Bikoshu Beetle–literally and figuratively–with a severely timed attack of flatulence. An outdoor test for a class of student-ninjas showcases both Naruto’s bad habits (his idea of living off the land is to stock up at a comfortableness store before heading into the forest) and his unshakable determination. The characters have a dissimilar look in these sequences that proposes Studio Pierrot changed ink and paint schemes and, possibly, galore key clean-up artists for the duration of production. After Teaming Up With Team 8 And Now Teaming Up With Team Gai Here Comes The Mayhem

Seeing this coming to stores and online I immediately ordered this uncut box set for my Naruto collection. The set will of course deal with the final episodes of the quest to find the Bikouchu beetle and use it to locate Sasuke, and team 8′s battle with a rival team who are trying to capture the Bikouchu as well. These episodes will deal with the crisis of a village rich with their own gold mine but sadly is taken over by a bunch of rogue ninja lead by one of the seven swordsman of the mist. The one thing I truly love about these uncut box sets is just that they show the blood caused by the injures in battle or stick with the language that some of the censors thought was to inappropriate to listen to on American t.v.(Adult Swim). Like always these box sets have clear and sharp pictures no distortions to worry about and the voice cast for both the Japanese and English cast were incredible. So for all Naruto fans rejoice for the coming of this box set, and if you’re a stickler just waiting for those Naruto Shippuden episodes to come out just look at it this way were coming close to the home stretch…

Naruto is entertaining and teaches kids values of honor & responsibility.

We have every Naruto boxed set and we purchased them after having seen the shows on cable because we wanted to be able to watch them over and over again. The kids love Naruto and so do I. The kids have the books, the action figures and the role-playing costumes. As a parent I particularly like the values of hard work, responsibility, and overcoming adversity portrayed in the cartoons.

A continuation of the filler arcs

Naruto Uncut Box Set 12 is a three DVD disc set that contains episodes one hundred and fifty through one hundred and sixty-three of Naruto. This set concludes the Bikochu bug arc, has the entire Raiga arc, the Great Survival Challenge, an arc about a bounty hunter, a story about imposters coming to the Leaf Village, and a search for “The Cursed Warrior.”

The first item in the extras menu is labeled as “Production Art.” This consists of fifteen pages, which are model sketches of some of the Naruto characters. There is a sneak preview of Naruto Uncut Box Set 13, which runs for roughly three and a half minutes. Next is “From Sketch to Screen,” which contains eight pages of storyboards from episode one hundred and fifty. For each storyboard, you can choose to see the clip that the storyboard is for. You can also see the English credits in the “Extras” menu.

Next in the extras menu is a selection labeled “New From Viz Media.” This link takes you to advertisements for Shonen Jump Magazine, two Naruto pages, and two pages featuring other Shonen Jump manga titles. A link in the extras menu labeled as “DVD Trailers” takes you to a set of trailers. There are trailers for: Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody, Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, and Buso Renkin. The final link in the extras menu is labeled as “Game Trailers,” and it has trailers for: Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 Revolution, Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2, and Bleach: Shattered Blade.

These extras are what I’ve come to expect from these Naruto Uncut box sets, but I still feel a little disappointed when I see that no further effort has been put toward the special features on these sets. However, if you’re a Naruto fan that wants to collect all of the episodes on DVD, then the Naruto Uncut Box Set 12 would be a good addition to your DVD library.
