A Knight’s Tale

Only noblemen in this day could joust. For four men, Wat, William, and Roland this is their life. They have just found out that Sir Ector, the man that they support in jousting has died. It is either starve or pretend to be him. William decides to take his place for a while until they may figure out what to do. It is a moment that he has waited for his whole life. His parents applied to take him to jousting competitions. Since he only has to compete in the final round, he wins. The friends have a hard time on agreeing to carry on training since he is not of noble birth. He is only a peasant but do at long last determine to support his new future.

As they are journeying to the next tournament they see a naked man named Geoffrey walking down the road. He is actually a writer. They determine to hire him to make his noble lineage on paper. William becomes Ulrich from Lichtenstein Little do they know, Geoffrey has a gambling problem. In that town William sees a girl dressed in white. William must save Geoffrey. He is naked again and owes a lot of money. William says he will pay the men and sets Jeffrey free.

While jousting, William damages his armor. No one will repair it except a woman. He has his doubts but she is the only one more than willing to fix it. Meanwhile, the mystery lady sends a token and her name, Jocelyn to William. William will have to now take on the fiercest knight of all, Adamar the count who does beat William. A lady comes by and asks what color William’s tunic is for the dance so that Jocelyn could match him. He is delighted but must learn how to dance in only a few short hours but has the time of his life. The blacksmith makes William some new armor that is lighter. He wins his next tournament but must now take on a prince. He is the only one brave sufficient to take on the prince and as a result wins the tournament. Will William win Jocelyn’s heart or will the count prevail by killing him? Watch and find out.
